A Kirk Communicator cellphone ringtone

Vulcanian

Commander
Red Shirt
Does anyone know where I can get a Communicator ringtone for my new cellphone?

Keep it cheap (preferably under $5.00) and no gimmicks or hidden charges.

What provider do you have? I have a Krazr flip phone so I also had to get the communicator ringtone. I have Verizon as my service provider and I was able to get the lone ring tone thru "get it now" on the phone itself. Don't remember how much but pretty certain it was under $5.

Also seen them online for other providers but since it didn't work with mine I don't recall where. If others have similar options to download them I wouldn't be surprised if they also have the tone.

Get yourself an MP3 file of the sound you want as your ring tone. Upload it to that site. The site then sends it back to your phone.

I haven't tried it, though. My phone has a removable memory chip, so I just put the chip in my card reader, copied the files I wanted from my computer to the chip, then put the chip back in the phone.

Just about every phone I have or friends have that support polyphonic ring tones can play MP3s for ring tones, have you checked your phone for this function?

Heh...Denny Crane had such a ringtone on HIS flip phone in one particular episode of Boston Legal.

I have the KRZR also and all I did was take the sound effects off my Trek SFX CD (which was on my music player) and just moved it into the KRZR's folder. I then applied it as a ring tone. Since I've had the CD for 15 years, this was all free.

I am with Verizon also, but could not find the ringtone using 'get it now". Could you provide any more info on how you obtained it?
