2025 Comics Thread

* More Kelvinverse stories.
Same.

I'd like just about anything apart from the "all star lineup" approach they've been doing. I was sick of that starting day two.
I admire it more than I like it. I don't mind the overall concept, but the relentless fanwank is wearying.

ENT is the true comics underdog, and I'd welcome some stories connected to it. Even if the rumored roadblock regarding the captain's face is true, there's still plenty of other stuff you could explore.
I would welcome this -- I'm thinking of it as essentially a spin-off to Enterprise -- but I wonder how much interest there would be, and whether there would be enough to be viable.

The Section 31 one-shot is out!
I read it last night.
During the tabletop game session, some of the Starfleet ship models look familiar but I can't place them.

The all-new crossover event between Star Trek and Defiant is here! From the Eisner-nominated writers of Star Trek, Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly; the critically acclaimed writer of Star Trek: Defiant, Christopher Cantwell; and artist Davide Tinto, Lore War #1 shows us a universe rebuilt in Lore’s image. The crews of the Theseus and the Defiant scattered across the universe with no memory of who they once were - some even worship Lore as their God. Lore has won; his rule is absolute. But The Sisko remains, and there are forces who wish to remind him of his power.

I really do not like the new IDW logo.
From a distance it just looks like ID, or UD
When I first saw it on lower decks comics I thought it was an LD for Lower Decks.

I've been reading the IDW comics and I just got caught up to date (Lore War #1). I'm not entirely sure, but it seems they are set pre-nemesis. Does that seem accurate to others?

The time traveler who’s responsible for a deadly wave of Federation rewrites is still at large, and the Lower Deckers are now further than ever from stopping them.

“Lore War,” Part 2. On one side of the war, Worf, Shaxs, Alexander, and others who once valued honor above all have now been designed by the malevolent android Lore to uphold his dictatorial rule; on the other side, a rebel Maquis fleet, Kahless II, Beverly, Sisko, and all those who know the truth behind their current reality endeavor to tear it down with what little resources they have. But not everything is as hopeless as it seems: There are allies hidden in the unlikeliest of places and assets-like the famous USS Phoenix-that escape even the all-seeing positronic eye of Lore.

They really need to make the W in IDW's new logo more obvious, every time I see it looks to me like it just says ID.
