Same parking lot, but I went to the zoo. No baseball game that day.

I could go for a minor league or college team here but I live in the middle of nowhere.

No matter how yo feel about Derek Jeter (or Gatorade for that matter), I think you have to admit this commercial is pretty cool. Very well done

In all the time I have been on this Trekbbs I have only ever got into one heated sporting debate and it was when Australian Steven Bradbury won a very unexpected ice speed skate gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics

The race

myself, and an American member of the board argued about whether Bradbury should have been awarded the medal or whether the race should have been rerun. I took the side that as Bradbury was the only one who managed to stay on his feet he deserved the gold medal.
