Spoilers S3 Premiere

One of the reviews says the end credits theme is....
The First Contact end credits theme. Is it the whole thing in the usual movie format with TNG theme/First Contact theme/TNG reprise?
Yes, but not the whole thing (shorter)

@NCC-73515 without giving too much away, is a year mentioned for the setting for this season? And what is this anniversary celebration about?
Haven't seen a year, but Frontier Day is coming up, and is says it's the anniversary of.... and the rest is covered by something in the foreground XD

@NCC-73515
Was there a preview/trailer for episode 3?

RMB was saying that his copies of the episodes at least, ended with previews for the next episode.
Both episodes were cut together, unclear where 1 ends and 2 begins, and there was a season trailer at the end with no big news

There is a blink and you miss it reveal of some ships in the fleet museum in the end credits, and just before revealing if there's a TOS connie or a Disco version of it, it gets blurry and fades out :D

For a while, they're looking for the
red lady
, which made me think of Disco of course, wondering if they're really gonna go there somehow, but it turned out to be
the statue at the building that's destroyed in the trailers, a SF recruitment center, and that statue is Rachel Garrett!

Someone mentioned a connection to Fallout 3 before - the season opens like s1, colorful nebula shots, only that instead of 'Blue Skies', we hear 'I don't want to set the world on fire' by the Ink Spots, which famously made the Fallout 3 trailer so great.

Completely off topic fact about that song, the Fallout 1 devs also wanted it for Fallout 1, but couldn't get the rights.

Still love that song. It's great. The YT Gamer Gopher used it as his Fallout 3 intro and outro for his playthrough and I still think of it fondly.

Have you watched any of ‘Many a True Nerd’s videos? He’s very knowledgeable in fallout 3/NV/4. He’s got a bunch of great play throughs

Many of them, pun intended. I still like his "Kill Everything Run" for FO3, and his Dust run for NV. Currently really enjoying his "Tale of Two Wastelands" mod playthrough. Really creative and fun, as well as finding the little tidbits people might not know about the game, which I learned a couple of things on the last video. Highly recommend watching vs. other YT content.

Also, the channel Mike Burnfire has a great NV playlist, if overly long due to being a heavily modded, and somewhat ridiculous, cooperative playthrough.

Same. I've learned so much about Fallout 3 I didn't know.

Something nice for us EM ship collectors: more of them are prop replicas now ;)
And I think one small model was a Galoob MM :D

Surely someone somewhere has written spoiler full synopsis of the first 2 episodes (anonymously). but I'm not sure where to look.

The premiere being referred to in this thread is invite only in LA on the 10th. There is also one in NYC I believe but am unsure of the date. Regular fans who post on twitter about star trek a lot have gotten invites to these events in the past so I'd be careful online if you want to avoid spoilers

I was just wondering how someone got invited to the event? Two of my twitter peeps got invited personally and for them it was an out of this world event! I was so green with envy and happy for them at the same time about it. I wished I could have afforded to go-if I had been invited that is. But I guess I'm not special enough to go yet, if ever.

From what I've gathered, the ones who were invited to attend had to sign a waiver of some kind, promising not to spoil it for the world after they watched. So I don't think you'll get any spoilers out of the ones who went. They are sworn to secrecy!

Most of the non industry people I know that were invited, have podcasts........even ones not about Trek.......and yes there were NDAs and embargos.....someone can violate them but they will NEVER be invited back, so not really worth the risk.

You can ask anything, I just think telling the full story would ruin the experience. Small things like eastereggs that aren't relevant to the story should be fine though. Just maybe not the big twists and surprises :D

They just asked us to not share "plot lines or spoilers".

Possibly now my favourite Starfleet uniform.
The more I'm getting to see of it, the more I think I agree.

The TWOK Uniforms have been my favorite. And I like how they've managed to make that style subtlety fit with the PIC style we've seen up to this point.

It's better than some version I saw some time ago where someone tried to make a Monster Maroon version of the First Contact Uniforms. (link)
