My brother's getting a Wii for Christmas. He knows since he was with us when we finally found one and has won't shut up about how much he can't wait until he can play with it. He's gonna wanna throttle me when he gets to that present.![]()
I would do the wrapping it inside a box inside a box inside a box thing. With copious amounts of tape and ribbon. Make it take forever to get to it. Since the box will be so much bigger than the actual Wii, tell him you decided to take the Wii back and got him a vacuum cleaner instead.![]()
Oooo, that's brilliant! I just ran that idea past my mother and she loves it, too! We're gonna put a couple bricks in the boxes, too, to give it more weight. Hee! I can't wait until Christmas morning!![]()
I'm not a poor wrapper, and can do better than some I guess. I have to get creative when there's no edges!

My edges are straight and the paper overlaps well enough. I don't use a ton of tape...unless I want to.
But we had to ban bows and ribbons, even to the point of taking them off any gifts that are sent to us, here in Mayville. The cat loves to eat ribbon, then later (usually in the middle of the night) gets sick. It's not fun.
