conan needs to be in the hall of fame for that ^. now I like that miz thats the miz people would like . I am just surprised by that .

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: SUPERSTARS AND TNA TONIGHT :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Well ya know somthin brother Dixie when the Hulkster tells ya hes gonna get the job done brother, he does what he says. The hulkster will be pushin the young guys straight to the top. Remember when I let little Billie Kidman beat me in the dumpster well thats what I'm talkin about brother Dixie. Me and Eric are on the same page, straight up and ready to take HNE ....I mean TNA right past Vince and show all them WWE fans some real wresltin.

What does "HNE" stand for there? By the way, dead on impression. If I didn't know better, I'd think Hogan posts here. :techman:

Admiral Young, thanks for the link. I loved The Miz's guest appearance on Conan. He was so pumped up and full of energy. Very entertaining and Conan's reaction was fun to watch. The nickname surprised me, though. I was expecting him to re-christen the guy as "The Cone". :p

I would say that The Miz as a face would be just as entertaining as The Miz as a heel. He's that damn good (sorry Trips lol). I liked him and John Morrison as a tag team. He's pretty much been a heel though since he debuted. I wanna see a face turn soon.

he's so annoying a heel . But he was great on conan , I actualy liked him god help me.

and now SUPERSTARS ON WGN.

and first up is daniel bryan and gail kim in mix tag . love this couple .

tyler rex vs chris masters round 2

superstars was great tonight .

tna :

mr. anderson vs RVD sting special enforcer
tara vs micki james I love both these girls I gues both coming from the wwe .

okay delo brown and al snow who holding sting and mr. anderson apart but who was that third guy ? and I agree ric so need to retire but I am glad to see abyss . for those of you who don't know who abyss is look at the very early ECW .

Flair needed to retire over a decade ago but it seems he is one of those old guys who just really wants to die in the ring.

If he does die in the ring, at least it would be at a reasonably old age, rather than in his 30s or 40s like many others.

I love watching Flair wrestle guys who he could literally say he was winning World Championships when they were in diapers.

Aw, too much Flair bashing. :( The old master still has his moments. Remember his singing goodbye to Sabu? By the way, does anyone know the name of that classic tune whose melody he stole for that? "Goodbye Sabu, so long Sabu! Goodbye, Sabu...good riddance to you! WOOOOO!!!!".

His actual wrestling may be sad right now (and it's an insult to how much class the E put into setting up and legitimizing his retirement story line), but as long as he keeps spinning gold like that on the mic, I don't mind if he keeps talking.

Oh, I'm not Flair bashing. It was something I noticed when I saw him wrestling guys like Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar.

Ric made his debut in 1972 and won his first World Championship in 1974. Orton was born in 1980, Lesnar in 1977. I was simply stating facts.

In a very real sense, wrestling would not be where it is today without Flair.

That said, I'd be perfectly happy if Flair would just honor his retirement match with Shawn Michaels.

The only reason I've brought up Flair retiring again is because when I was watching the segment last night where Fortune rushed the ring and began attacking Flair, Bully Ray, and Hardy I couldn't stop laughing at how Flair looked. Out of shape, his old man hair flying around. He looked like a clown getting his asked kicked. He can still work a mic so I wouldn't mind if he stuck around to mentor wrestlers in a managerial capacity but he's ego is such that he'd have to do the physical stuff still as well. His over selling is hilarious still.

I keep up with both promotions (and others), but I'm really at a loss to explain why TNA continues its downward spiral. They have some good minds over there, some great talent and a venue (Spike TV) in which to reach a large audience. There's no excuse for their continued lackluster showing against WWE.

Ric Flair has given enough of his life to wrestling that I think he's earned the right to decide when it's time to hang up the robe for good. It's not like he's putting himself over talent and winning big matches and titles like it's 1983. He's more than worthy of being able to work the occasional match and take bumps as he sees fit. No one else should be allowed to tell him he's through just because he's reached a certain age and can't wrestle a brilliant match like he could as recently as 2007.

WWE has been pretty damn interesting lately. I suppose my enthusiasm has been boosted by the returns of Austin and Rock (both of whom seem receptive to the idea of wrestling again), not to mention Trish Stratus, but also by some really strong youngsters like The Miz, Del Rios and others. And as always John Cena is doing great work as the face of the WWE. It took me a long time to truly appreciate his vast improvement on the mic and in the ring over the past five years. At this point it's impossible to deny how much he contributes as both a talent and ambassador for his industry.

Right now WWE has a nice mix of rising stars and veteran talent who are still capable of contributing something meaningful. It's not shocking to me at all that Jerry Lawler is as capable at sixty-one as a roster consisting mainly of guys who are half his age or even younger.

I quite frankly don't watch Smackdown. I'm watching the hockey game anyways (Canucks are playing the Thrashers right now).

never could get into Hockey . and what are you candaian ? if so were not the french part right .
