Julie Newmar, though it's close. Meriwether was incredibly sexy in the movie; the way she writhed around in that catsuit and caterwauled like a cat in heat was amazing. But overall, Newmar was the more effective and enticing Catwoman. She wasn't just physically sexy, but strong and smart and funny, all of which made her sexier.
Eartha Kitt, though, had the advantage of actually being built like a catburglar should. I saw her in a Mission: Impossible episode where she played an acrobat/contortionist whose job was to sneak through a ventilation system and around alarm sensors, and her light, diminutive dancer's build was perfect for that. (Which is why it's so ridiculous that the Catwoman and Black Cat of modern-day comic books are so huge-breasted.) Not that the '60s Batman show had any pretense of realism, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Agreed. Merriweather was the best with Newmar running a close second. I didn't like Kitt at all. And, before I'm slammed for being a racist, her being black had nothing to do with it. I just liked the other two better.

i think it was more Eartha's voice than anything that bumped me. I'd go crazy if i had to hear that voice, while trying to fight crime. Let alone rub one out. Tee-hee!
