The new UESPA Series of books thread

Even though there are no ships on the cover—the Bread and Circuses cover is my favorite—a true science fiction cover.

Thanks! That's one of the rare instances where I think I got the person to look okay. In all the others, they look janky due to my trying to get a "painted" look with Photoshop filters and getting the best I was able to at that time. I've had a tablet for a couple years now, and as I realized the 20th anniversary was coming up, I realized I could ideally try to redo those covers. My first few attempts has not yielded the results I wanted i.e. stylistic accuracy for the times. That's why I've got so many ship covers. LOL!

I'm still not seeing the Photobucket watermark on my images in the old thread. Is anyone else seeing them? Photobucket has been sending me e-mails to unlock my account (they want me to pay for what was previously free) and I've ignored those e-mails to the point that I thought it had finally shut down the account. Recently, to my surprise, I received a few of those e-mails again, which I promptly ignored. I created this new thread because of those watermarks and I figured I could post the covers in the current chronological order. I don't know if this is some temporary thing to get me back to Photobucket or what.

At the moment, my account also doesn't have them.

Yeah, could be. As far as my lack of interesting in returning to my account, they did it to themselves.

Okay, thanks! The main reason I created this new thread was because of that and I figured it'd be easier than trying to replace the images in the old one.

I have the same lack of interest as well and yeah, they sure did do it to themselves.

As it turns out—there were similar types of art in bubble-gum cards..in terms of ships:

That lacked fidelity and purposely took liberties to the extremes of, say, the covers of The Omega Glory and Charlie X, shown on the previous page?

Nope. Not even remotely. Not that example.
