We've heard the Borg speak in various forms of Trek - TNG, Voyager, ST:FC, and so on. The voices all seem to be the same in each of these appearances. Does anyone know who, out-of-universe, actually performed the Borg voices?
Were there a specific group of crew members who were tasked with speaking all Borg lines? Or did they just round up some random people on the set and have them go into the studio?
It sure doesn't sound like a computerized voice - meaning, they couldn't have had some kind of computer program ready to automatically spit out any Borg dialogue they typed in. So they must have had actual actors go in and record the voice of the collective. Anyone know who?
