When Universes Collide (Dr. Who x Star Trek)

We did get a crossover once already, back when they owned the rights to both franchises IDW did a Trek/Who crossover with the 11th Doctor, Amy, and Rory and the TNG TV era crew teaming up to fight a team up of the Borg and Cybermen. One of the covers showed the 4th Doctor and the TOS crew fighting 60s or 70s era Cybermen, so it might have also had that as a flashback of some kind.

I have the first half, but I haven't read it because IDW lost the license and they pulled it off all of the digital comics retailers before I could get the second half.

But, I don't think this is going to be leading any kind of onscreen crossover, I'm sure if it were they would be making a bigger deal of teasing the announcement.

Yep, IIRC it started with the Doctor and the TNG gang finding a reference to Cybermen in the Enterprise's database, which includes a few images of the event, which jogs the Doctor's memory, then the rest of the issue is basically a TOS adventure where they have a run in with Cybermen and the Fourth Doctor shows up to help.

I did like the end of that issue, where we're back on the Enterprise D's bridge, the Eleventh Doctor realizing "I was there." Rest of the conversation goes something like:
Riker: What do you mean you were there?
Doctor: That man with the scarf, that was me.
Riker: That's ridiculous, that would make you a hundred years old.
Doctor: You're right, Commander, that is ridiculous. My actual age is nowhere near one hundred.

Turns out we're getting a mobile game crossover, with the Doctor popping up on the Ceritos in the Lower Decks: The Badgey Directive, and Boimler and Mariner teaming up with River Song in Doctor Who: Lost in Time. I tried Lost in Time recently, but I didn't last very long. This might motivate me to give it another try or give The Badgey Directive a go.

Cool video - a pity so little DS9 (just the one very short scene) - and no Classic Who.

It's interesting that the Youtube thumbnail says this is a teaser. That implies there is more to come.

Yeah, I don't get why the clips from Paramount+ shows were in such a narrow aspect ratio when the actual shows aren't like that.

River crosses over with the L&O universe and becomes a defense attorney named "Miranda Pond" (wink wink).

Oh, wait...
I actually happened to catch an SVU rerun a few weeks ago (since I was stuck at a hospital with not much options on TV...) which featured her character. It was one I had seen before I quit watching, but I don't think I ever realized that was her full name.
