What We Do In The Shadows tv show

I thought that was the funniest ep yet. Lots of good bits.

"You could have just telephoned."

"It's just a freaky long hallway."

I'll have to watch it again, I thought it was OK but not as good as other weeks. There were definitely funny moments so I don't mind giving it another shot. The delivery of that telephone line was great especially since these guys are usually so out of touch themselves.

The gliding vamp was a hoot.

This is a fun interview on how the episode came together:

Despite Taika working with Dave it was actually Kristin that brought him in.

I watched it again and I don't know if I was distracted or not but the vampire council scenes were much funnier to me in that deadpan sort of way the second time around.

“That poor baby.”

“I’m only listening to half his opinion.”

“Move the computer next to the router, homes.”

“What is this, is this lunch?”

“Who is this glasses motherfucker?”

“It’s like welded on there or something.”

I tried watching an episode of Conchords once and it didn't do much for me so I never watched the series but I've been curious about giving it another chance because I've enjoyed Jemaine Clement on Legion and now his work on this I see he's more than just an actor.

Colin Robinson proved his value in this episode. Poor Guillermo found out that he will probably never become a vampire. I thought he would just walk (run) away when he found that out. He was so brave to admit the truth.

Really fun episode with Nadja (trying) to train baby vampire, Jenna (been waiting for this since she was bitten) and Nandor attempting to get citizenship.

I hope we see more of Jenna because I like her dynamic with Nadja.

ICE is going to raid their house.

Nandor probably has citizenship, considering when they got to America. You just decided that you were an American, and once you owned property, if you had balls, then you were allowed to vote.

Nandor is screwed since he's of a Muslim background.

Wait a minute, Blade is a movie in this universe even though "Wesley" is a real vampire. Maybe it was based on the real daywalker. So confused. ;)

It seems all of the actors present are vampires playing vampires.

Or it's just a joke.

:)

Finally watched the first episode earlier this week. Loved it, so this'll probably be a show I focus on for a while.

Colin Robinson's orgy attire was yikes! And he never got the chance to invite anyone into his room to view the Human Art. Guillermo's virgin friend saved his own life, no thanks to Guillermo. Seeing other vampires outside the main 4 is always fun. Season finale next week--it's too soon!
