What was life like for you before the Internet?

The 80s 90s were the best. Watching movies, hanging out with people and stuff. It was the best times.

Lots of building as I really had fun building electronic kits and things.

Zip back to the present and I still do the occasional kit.

I did do something I've never done before and I bought a train set.

Life before the internet?

I don't believe the world existed before Internet.

Yes, I supposedly was born in 1973, long before the internet became a global thing, but memories I have of that time could just be implanted, artefacts could be fake.

Prove me wrong :nyah:

That's one deep rabbit hole...

Perhaps that is the source of the "Mandela Effect." Half of us had weird memories of Mr Monopoly's missing monocle and misspellings of The Berenstain Bears incorrectly implanted. 🤯

Let's add Saturday morning cartoon beinge watching 8 to noon. The Biugs Bunny and Riadrunner Show, the Laff-o-lympics, Scooby-Doo, Battle of the Planets, Thundar the Barbarian, Captain Caveman, Josie and the Pussycats, Jabberjaw, the Herculoids, the Ghost Busters, Dungeons and Dragons, and so many came and went through childhood. Saturday was the only morning I and I'm pretty sure many, if not the vast majority of us Gen X-ers got up early on our own.
