There is a scene early in the episode where Chekov and Scotty are trying to get a visual on an alien vessel (later found out to be the Klingon scout ship) just outside their sensor scan. There isn't much to update in this episode, so I think it would be a waste not to change this graphic into a more modern sensor display. It looks fine to me, but I'm willing to bet it might look silly to a common 12 year old today and tomorrow.

I was watching the ENT episode Unexpected. Here, unfortunately, we got to see for the first time a Klingon ship of this era. Despite my snickering at the K't'inga class ship, I also found myself smiling at a certain shot. The first time we see the ship on the viewscreen, it mirrors the scene in Friday's Child where, we too for the first time, see a Klingon ship of this era.

Rewatching the episode again, I really hope they replace the night sky of Capella IV with a more realistic one that doesn't scream soundstage. At certain moments, it looks awful--the sky is dark purple with odd hints of green and red. Other times it simply isn't consistent--in one shot, the sky is dark blue and then is bright green.
Didn't they say back in September that those alien planet skies were on their list of things to redo? Did they change their minds?
