What are you reading?

I've ordered Ken Lozito's Pathfinder (First Colony, book seventeen) in paperback from Amazon. It is supposed to arrive on Thursday. I will start it next after I finish the Expanse Babylon's Ashes.

I finally finished reading The Two Towers earlier this week. And while it took me several months to get through, I actually really enjoyed it this time. I've just gotten bad about taking out time to read, but I keep hoping to fix that and try to remember to set aside more time for it.
After that I read the second Star Trek: Strange New Worlds comic book miniseries, The Scorpius Run. It was really good, with good writing and art, and a really cool story line.

The "Joseph and his Brothers" quadrilogy by Thomas Mann. I had already read the first two novels a couple of years ago, now I'm in the 3rd.

Amazing how Mann could make a 1400 page story out of such a short passage from the Bible. And I'm amazed by his rich language every time again.

Finished The last days on Krypton by Kevin J. Anderson. Not a really good book, like how many disasters Krypton can have in a year time. And the characters didnt really came to life.

I recently finished The Enlightenment in America by Henry F. May.

Now, the first of Edmund Morris' three-volume biography of Theodore Roosevelt: The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt. Inexplicably, I started reading this back in 2009, then stopped after about eighty pages. Hope to finish it and the succeeding volume, Theodore Rex. The late 1800's/early 1900's are fascinating to me. So much change in such a short amount of time.

My grandparents were born in horse and buggy days, and lived to see Man walk on the moon. I wish I had talked with them about that.

A few days ago, I finished up Star Wars Vol. 11: The Sourging of Shu-Torun, and now I'm reading The Amazing Spider-Man: Big Time.

Finished Ken Lozito's First Colony Book Seventeen: Pathfinder, and starting James S.A. Corey's Expanse book 7: Persepolis Rising.

After I finished up The Amazing Spider-Man: Big Time, I started the Star Trek: TNG short story anthology, The Sky's The Limit. So far I'm up to the third story.
