Was that a xeno skull burning in "Predators"?

Saw "Predators" last night and I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere so I thought I'd ask. First of all, congratulations to the director and his crew for doing the impossible - they actually made a BORING Predator film. I thought AvP2 was dire. Even with its relatively short run time(and no third act - apparently they ran out of cash), I was STILL checking my watch. Cliché ridden and derivative, this was a STINKER.

Anyway, I was looking EVERYWHERE for a hint of my favourite aliens, the xenos and I think I may have seen them. When they come into the camp with all the alien skeletons and the other normal predator hung up, we get a quick glimpse of a long, elongated alien skull burning. It looked JUST enough like the famous bonce of the xenos from "Alien".

Did anybody else catch this?

I won't say this was enough to redeem this steaming pile but I will take ANY mention or image of the horrific and fantastic xenomorphs, even if it IS in a godawful piece of shit like this.

Sure but myriad SF stories feature aliens. Since the species from the "Alien" film series have never been named many people have takent o simply referring to them as "xenos".

Interesting points. I have to say, despite all the various aliens that inhabit these movies, television shows and literature that we discuss here, when I hear "Alien" (or see the word written with an upper case "A"), I immediately and directly think of "Giger's" Alien. Other species get recognized by their own label, but the creature that Ripley battled has usurped the term Alien in my mind!
