First, for those unfamiliar with the wax museum, here is a link:

It's really great that the figures were all rescued and kept together and will be on display again.
The photos....
As mentioned in the article, the cast members were photographed in the early 70s. The photo shoots were done in their own homes. With the exception of Nichelle Nichols, who declined to participate. Existing photos of her were used for the project and you will see those here as well.
Circa 2003, I had the opportunity to purchase a group of the original photos. Shortly thereafter, I was in contact with Audrey K Anderson, who was the head of Leonard Nimoy's fan club, and she mentioned that she had some of the original photos as well. It turned out that we each had half of the original photo collection. We both loaned our photos to Curt McAloney, who operates startrekhistory.com and he did high-quality scans of all of the photos. Until now, the three of us have likely been the only ones to have seen all of the photos together in a long time. I felt that it was time to share the photos here, so that they will have wide appreciation.
I will begin with the photos of Leonard Nimoy. Yes, the effects of his struggles with alcoholism and smoking are quite evident in the photos. The three of us commented on that in our discussions with each other. Leonard was in his early 40s in these photos, but appears older and unhealthy. May he have the peace now that he did not have then.
