Ugh, the medicine makes me feel worse than the cold.

Wife and Son have had a head cold the last few days. Well wouldn't you count on it, just as they're getting better I get the damn thing. So I started taking some Alka-Selzter Cold (about the only OTC med that doesn't make me puke) and now I feel worse since I started taking than I did when I was just suffering through.

When it was just a cold, I felt like shit but I could get up and get shit done with the day. With the medicine, I feel like shit and now I'm so damn drained that I can barely get out of the chair to sit down and do paperwork and send out e-mails that need to be sent. Actually fell asleep at the desk yesterday and only woke up when I nearly slipped out of my chair.

Have you tried day-quil? I swear that stuff gives me a minor buzz.

I'm able to function better on the day-quil than off the day-quil when I have a bad cold.

I'll have to check. I just grabbed my usual.

As I said, Alka-Selzter is the only that doesn't make me puke. I used to use Nyquil (wicked stuff in the old days) and it was out of me in a day, two tops. But last couple of years they either make me vomit or burn my stomach.
