The first day of The Jay Leno Show actually got risen too over 18 million viewers.

Bones did really well, Fringe could have been a little higher, and Glee looks to be screwed very quickly unless the demo numbers stay strong, but even then... ouch that show is in trouble, they should have had it start mid season with AI.

This week coming up will be very intresting with the majorty of the shows back on air. Also I hope you all like my new avatar made brand new for the upcoming season ;)

bit of a drop over the week for The Jay Leno Show, but that that is normal for any 5 night a week show, Im guessing NBC will be quite happy if Leno got 7+ million 4 nights out of 5.

I am surprised NBC decided on a 5 night a week format because I would of done Mon-Thursday with friday either a best of the week or a different show/repeat.

They probably tape Friday's show on Thursday anyways.

How long will Leno stay with NBC, he seems to be a smart guy with no need for the money ? I can't see him staying more than a few years at the most in this new format.

I'm shocked he stayed on NBC.

He was REALLY pissed off when NBC fired him years ago and he showed it on the air through his jokes. I lost a great deal of respect for him when he decided to stay with the network instead of going to ABC or Fox.

Yeah, I like it. :bolian: Thanks for keeping us updated with all the ratings news, it's always fascinating.

With all his money and options, why does he keep doing the SAME OLD SHIT??? I don't even begrudge people who want to watch the same old shit, but why doesn't the guy just get bored and move on to do something new?

If I were Jay and had all his millions and name recognition, I'd do something interesting. Call Trent Reznor and offer to produce that sci fi series he's got percolating.

Impressive second week numbers for The Vampire Diaries on The CW by their standards. They will, and should, be quite happy if those numbers hold pretty steady around that mark.

Glee has become the first show this season to get a full season with a two episode average of like 7 million with a 3.1 demo.

Ah Jay Leno. Because fat, 45 year old Midwesterners never get tired of OJ and Bill Clinton jokes. The man is literally a walking 90's time capsule. His funniest bits("Headlines", "Jay on The Street") are things he doesn't even write.

Because he has the IQ and talent of a Crenshaw melon.
