[Starscape]

The board can be understably quiet this time of year and I was wondering if, for a bit of fun, a few of us Fan Art denizens could band together for a little challenge and see if we can post one piece of Star Trek Art each day over Advent (1st to 24th December, inclusive).

Keep the rules loose, but let's say:

• The Art should be your own work, but it doesn't have to be new or Christmas related (it could be an old favourite, something you haven't posted before, an old Art Challenge entry that hasn't been seen in years, etc.)
• The first person to post an image along with the date on that date or ~24 hours after the previous image, claims the next day's image.
• If enough people are involved try NOT to post images on consecutive days.

If we can get at least 3-5 people involved it should be achievable to fill the 24 days. It could be thought of as a Fan Art Retrospective.

So what does everyone think, do you have any questions or suggestions?

I think that’s a wonderful idea and I’m definitely game for at least one of the days.

That could be fun, though I’m definitely too busy to make new art each day. I’d have to dip back into my archive for something that fits.

What a fun challenge! I'd love to take part - I've got a couple of seasonal pieces in the archives that I could use, but I'm hoping I'll have time to do some new art (although don't expect anything polished

)

I forgot to consider time differences when I was thinking this through. Shall we say you can claim the next day/image ~24 hours after previous day's image has been posted? (I'll update the initial post)

This is a funny coincidence, because just a few minutes ago I was outside and saw a Rotkehlchen sitting on the ground, looking at me curiously.

Nice work everyone! I've got an old image I'd like to post, but frankly I don't have time to be watching the clock in order to get the image in before someone else. Can we just claim a date?

Sure, @The Lensman, within reason. The goal is to, roughly, release one image a day. So, as long as it's that date somewhere in the world anyone can claim it.
