Trek Yourself

NTRPRZ

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Folks
My son found a Star Trek T-shirt at Walmart yesterday, and bought it for me. Of course I'm delighted to find a new Trek-related shirt, but I'm at a bit of a loss on its meaning.
I guess I don't know as much as I should about current pop culture.
I don't know how to post a photo, but it's a shot of Spock, with both hands in the LL&P gesture, but he's holding them in front of his chest. The caption says, "Trek yourself before you wreck yourself."
The shirt is licensed by CBS, so I figure it's legit and doesn't have any vulgar or otherwise inappropriate meaning.

Jeff
PS - if anyone can tell me how to post a photo without having to put it online first, please tell me!

Jeff,

You need an account at Photobucket or the like to be able to post a picture. If you don't have such an option available, send me a PM. I'll give you my e-mail address and you can send a photo to me and I'll post it for you.

It is also at our Wally Mart. I didn't get the quote, either, hence I didn't buy it.

It's a play on "Check yo self, before you wreck yo self!"

It means to cease what you are doing before you cause yourself harm or cause someone else to do you harm.

Putting "Trek" in there doesn't actually make sense other than the rhyme. It's not really vulgar though.

I can see how the intended meaning might be, "Since Trek is now En Vogue, get into Trek now, before you make yourself look like a fool for being Socially ignorant"

This?
