When Rock Band network comes out, it won't matter. They can just pester the bands instead.
I beat the Endless Setlist 2 on Medium yesterday with 5 stars on each song. It took me 7 hours with a short break every 12th song. While I do feel a sense of accomplishment, I find myself angry at the game design decision to make the Endless Setlist the way it is.
For one thing, it takes up pretty much half a waking day. That's not a good thing either socially or physically. The alternative is to manually break it up with pauses, causing unnecessary power consumption and preventing the use of the TV until it is finished.
Why couldn't they put in a temp save feature? Even real bands seldom play for more than 2 hours in a set without a break, and I've never heard of any band playing for over 6 hours straight. Allowing a save every 20th song would be a nice compromise between stamina and reality.
I don't plan on doing the ES2 on Hard or Expert. As Han Solo said, "No reward is worth this."

Downloads for the week of Sept. 27:
ALICE IN CHAINS PACK
"A Looking In View"
"Check My Brain"
"No Excuses"
"Rooster"
"Would?"
...Most of the time it's just me playing though, I double up drums and vocals...
Two unrelated items:
1. I just heard that there will be a Pearl Jam Live Rock Band game next year. The fan club members can vote for which versions of the songs they want to appear in the final game. I saw the list of 44 songs on GameFAQs.
Man, I need a lot more Dream Theater DLC stat!! I don't feel like buying GH:WT just for Pull Me Under. I honestly have a hard time going back to any guitar hero game after the awesomeness that is Rock Band. More Dream Theater please.
Seconded!![]()

From the free 20 I liked Prequel to the Sequel (shame that they left half the song off), and the X-Japan song.... aside from that, it's complete horseshit. Special mention goes to 'Authority Zero', who does a shitty imitation of a shitty band to begin with (Offspring) and that Bounce Bounce song... just awful. Oh god, and that Hollywood Undead nu-metal crap is also scraping the bottom of the barrel. Thenewno2 also gets a special mention because they suck and Dhani Harrison is involved.Playing through the tour and the challenges results in a lot of repeated songs, just like a real band experiences on tour. However, some songs have much more replay value than others.
A couple of great ones:
"Conventional Lover"
"Any Way You Want It"
A couple that fall under the "What Were They Thinking?" category:
"Aqualung"
"Teenage Riot"
If a song is long, it should at least be interesting like "Painkiller."
What are some of your loves and hates of the initial 104 (including free downloads) RB2 tracks?
The losers are:
- The Offspring - Come Out and Play*
- Lit - My Own Worst Enemy*
- Soundgarden - Spoonman (love the band, but this song sucks)
Hatred from people who like really bad pop-punk only makes me strongerThe losers are:

I think I may have to hate you now, so sorry.
