THE ORVILLE S2, E1: "JA'LOJA"

Yeah, that occurred to me as well, but I didn't want to start a whole Discovery vs. Orville thing and set off a holy war. ;)
I was going to make a joke about it but I couldn't think of one.

One wonders, idly, just how completely effective those holographic disguises could be. I mean, just how involved can Ed and Janel get, here?

For those disappointed by ending this should make up for it. ;)

I can definitely understand why some people were underwhelmed by this episode, I remember hating it when TNG did episodes like this back in the day. I would be like “I waited all week for a new episode and it’s just about Counseller Troi going grey!”

What? The episode where Troi woke up on a Romulan ship and found herself surgically altered was one of my favorite TNG episode ;);)

I'm pleased that Kelly's mole didn't mysteriously disappear like what happened to Tilly's face on the S2 of Discovery.

I read that this was the first filmed episode of season 2 and next week will be the holdover episode from season 1. Anyone know if that's right?

Also, it was kind of strange that Michael McManus was uncredited for this, not during the beginning or even the end, but I have a feeling you've all already figured out why.

Because
she's been on the show before. Although I don't think she's a big enough name to hide something like that.

I was looking at a youtube titled "Powergirl throughout the ages" or somesuch, and there was naked Kelly on Smallville blasting the Kent farm up with her heat ray vision... And there was no mole.

I guess sometimes (when she was younger and less confident) she puts a dolup of concealer on it before an audition?

Mary Wiseman on Room 104, which aired a few weeks ago, still had her mole... But that episode could have been sitting on a shelf for 6 months since she filmed her part.

I'm kind of hoping Tilly's mole was just edited out of the trailer and will still be making an appearance in S2.

Same here. Nothing wrong with moles. I have one. Same place as Cindy Crawford. I think we are suppose to call them beauty marks.

Jason

I didn't see the spoilers on this one, and I didn't "hear" the voice at first.

Jason Alexander? Holy crap!

I saw his name in the credits, but it totally didn't occur to me that it might have been the bartender. I didn't even recognize the voice. I hope he'll be a regular. Fun character.
