The MOST Disliked Episode of VOYAGER - Season Seven...

[Farscape One]

This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am very curious to see the results.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, wait six hours and leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

[Farscape One]

My first save for the last season will be "THE VOID". The kernel for this episode, I think, is season two's "ALLIANCES"... another great episode.

Here, we see the concept taken and made even better. It was really nice seeing Janeway create a mini-Federation, and the spirit of STAR TREK alive inside such a dark place.

Always a rewatch for me when it airs.

Homestead. Looking back at it, Season 7 was on the whole pretty forgettable and really didn't take too many risks story-wise, but this one at least felt like the series was starting to come to a conclusion.

"Body And Soul." Any of the jokes about how flustered the Doctor-in-Sevens-body gets when men hit on him are distastefully juvenile and NOT aging well (why would the Doctor even be programmed with a sexuality?) Everything around that is delightful! And what an excellent job Jeri Ryan does channeling Picardo's performance. My mind really remembers this as a great Doctor episode, even though it's Ryan on screen the whole time.

Eliminating Workforce, Part I. I think this is one of Voyager's better premises (Even if it requires suspension of disbelief that they would go to that kind of trouble just to brainwash people into performing middle income factory jobs), and I think the setup was better than the resolution.

I am saving "FLESH AND BLOOD". It was a great two-parter, and I always loved the Hirogen. They were also the only villains the ship can legitimately come across year after year because of their nonadic nature, other than the Borg. Also, nice to see some of the consequences of Janeway's actions for a change.

My favorites for this season are gone already so I'll save the finale... it had a bigger scale feel and, yes, a few things fans didn't care for I suppose, but it also had some high points like the birth of Miral and we see they will finally get home. Plus it is the most watched Star Trek ep per that Netflix stat.

I have to save INSIDE MAN: Episodes with Dwight Schultz are all the better for it and the comical interactions between his character and Picardo's are something to see. Plus it doesn't hurt that Marina Sirtis was there too. The weakest point is the story itself but who cares as long as we're having fun!

The metaphor of the metronome was apt, and holo-Chakotay was a really good guy, thoughtful and understanding.
