The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - VOY Season 6

Terrible Kim episode, partly because Kim Rhodes acted circles around him.
It was so bad for Kim because Kim was so much better than Kim so even though it was meant to be a Kim focused episode it became a Kim focused episode.

Tsunkatse is starting to stick out a little bit on this list. It's perfectly fine but we're entering territory where fine is the lower end of the spectrum.

Survival Instinct
Barge of the Dead
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye
Live Fast and Prosper
Muse

"Barge of the Dead" frustrated me when it refused to commit on whether B'Elanna's experience was even real. Pick a lane, dammit.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye
Live Fast and Prosper
Muse

"LIVE FAST AND PROSPER" dies slowly and is broke.

By far the weakest of what's left, despite it being a fun episiode.

Survival Instinct
Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye

The air goes out of "Survival Instinct" at the end for me. Seven's final speech against the proposal is incredible, but I ultimately can't believe that "we'll get them re-assimilated!" is presented as a possible solution at all. Assimilation has always been presented as a fate worse than death, and the whole episode has been about establishing that the assimilated existence of these characters is even more brutal and hellish than the norm.

Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy
Riddles
Dragon's Teeth
One Small Step
Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye

Pulling "DRAGON'S TEETH".

Great episode, but we never see the Vaadwaur again, which is a damn shame.

Plus the rest are ones that really hit great emotional beats. (With another being one of the very best in the franchise.)

One Small Step
Pathfinder
Blink of an Eye

"Blink Of An Eye" It's cool, but it's also the thing I find the most frustrating about Voyager, their tendency to only do interesting stuff when we're with a duplicate crew, or in an alternate timeline, or Kes is aging backwards, or we're on this time dilated planet, etc.

Anyone can do an interesting tangent episode. What I want is to see them make the main premise of this show work!

One Small Step
Pathfinder

Oh, wow. I was certain that "BLINK OF AN EYE" would win the season, or at least be runner up.

Twists and turns, shocks and surprises... these games have it all!
Yeah, I like "Blink Of An Eye", but I LOOOOOOOOOVE "Pathfinder." That is an absolute top Voyager for me. It carries more "getting them home" emotional impact than "Endgame" does.

And "One Small Step" is somewhat one of the Tangent Episodes that always draw my ire, but not as much as "Blink Of An Eye." "One Small Step" also includes a strong emotional story for Seven, so that plays better for me.

All it takes is one person who just isn't that into a given episode.

In this contests opposite equivalent, a bad episode only needs one fan.
Very true. Otherwise "THE VISITOR" would have at least made it to the Finals. It got killed pretty quickly, actually.

I completely get all of this, and pretty much agree. Only difference is I think "BLINK OF AN EYE" is even better because it's showing how science fiction (hell, we'll just say STAR TREK in this instance) and fantasy and mythology can and does inspire an entire society. I have always favored episodes that lean more into mythology, which is why Joe Menosky is one of my favorite writers/producers in the franchise. (A LOT of his episodes use mythology as a story point: like "Darmok", "Masks", "DRAMATIS PERSONAE", "MUSE", and "BLINK OF AN EYE".)
