I wanted to keep posting in the form of Trump style tweets, but I've hijacked this thread already and now I must return it to the people, so I shall stop here.
Same here. Especially for Hamil and the film over allI'm delighted by this news. The Last Jedi was a fantastic film and a great story. Best of all, it managed to hand-wave away (literally) most of the prequel nonsense. I can't wait for Episode IX.
I loved Luke's arc in this film. It made perfect sense while exposing his vulnerability and strengths. I felt that I really know Luke Skywalker now.Same here. Especially for Hamil and the film over all![]()
Same here. More interestingly Hamil is realizing that as well and it is fascinating to see him expand that character.I loved Luke's arc in this film. It made perfect sense while exposing his vulnerability and strengths. I felt that I really know Luke Skywalker now.
It's pretty sad that treating women and minorities as equal human beings is "political" and not just how human beings should behave. No we can't. Not when the main arguments against the movie involve feminism and social justice. Take your damn emoji elsewhere.

I hate the fact that a woman's role in a film has to be justified somehow. Before all of this drama over Rey, and some of the other recent controversies over frandom's treatment of real world women, I had honestly believed nerds overall were some liberal, open minded people out there. I have to admit to being very shocked and disappointed when I realized just how wrong I was.
Sexism is rampant in all aspects of society, even fandom. We’re all raised in this system, geeks aren’t immune because male geeks aren’t the traditional depiction of masculinity. If anything it makes them worse because they are punished for not fitting into that traditional role and use it to justify their own abuse of others while convincing themselves that they’re the “nice guys”. Sexual assault is actually a major problem at conventions because male fans think they are entitled to the bodies of female fans. Most of the women I know who go to conventions has experienced it and it goes far beyond some guy getting “grabby” in a crowd. Male geeks are like any other group of men. Before all of this drama over Rey, and some of the other recent controversies over frandom's treatment of real world women, I had honestly believed nerds overall were some liberal, open minded people out there. Just to be clear, these aren't my complaints about the movie. Just the ones I'm hearing the bad guys make.

You have no idea, yet you're going to object anyway? Whatever gets you by, mate.Don't even know what this means, but no.
