The Doctor's Daughter and Grand- Daughter/Son

Speaking of daughter's do you think we will ever see the clone female daughter from the episode "The Doctor's Daughter"ever return? That was the one with both Martha and Donna in it and Tennant was still the Doctor. That seems like something they left hanging and never addressed again.

There was also The War Games where the Time Lord tribunal were going to give the Doctor the choice over what his next form would look like, but he took too long so they made the choice for him. Some think one of the options resembles Peter Davison.

The first episode with Ashildr in season 9 rather awkwardly hamfists in the explanation that the Peter Capaldi form comes from the Doctor subconsciously remembering Fires of Pompeii during his regeneration, complete with a five minute clip from Fires of Pompeii with Donna pleading to the Doctor to save someone and the Doctor ultimately going back to save Capaldi's character and his family. Apparently, taking on a form similar to the man he saved is supposed to motivate the Doctor to save people wherever possible.

Like I said, awkward and hamfisted.

Yes.
Well by that metric they could do the same and have Capaldi subconciously upset over the death of missy thus choosing to "go girl" (pun intended) as a remembrance of Missy and her sacrifice on the Mondosian ship at the black hole. It fits established Canon..hamfisted or not. The More I think about Moffat's tenure, the more I really dislike a lot of the stuff he did. I feel like the new doctor gender change is part of a conspiracy theory I have that Moffat gets a lot of his ideas from Doug Naylor. Pandorica the 2nd big bang=Red Dwarf Back to Reality. Male time Lord upset at the loss of female best friend, gets gender swap to short haired blonde in remembrance=Red Dwarf Holly changes from Norman to Hattie in remembrance of the alternate universe version..lol

There has been talk about it. Tenant has been very vocal about a Jenny return.

I have a question about regeneration that people who have watched even the older era of the show might can answer? Is their limits to what a Time Lord can regenerate into? For example why couldn't a Time Lord go from looking like a 60 year woman to a 8 year old boy? Why do they always take human looking form? Could they look like a animal that evolved on their planet or some kind of caveman version of their species that use to exist before they evolved into what they became, asuming they were a product of evoultion? If they have any choice could they look like a alien if they wanted? Maybe like those blue aliens just to list one example.

River regenerated from her 8-10 year old form (the original occupant of the spacesuit) into a toddler after Day of the Moon, winding up being raised in the UK as "Mels" who would be the same age as Amy and Rory (her parents) so she could become their best mate at school. So yes the Doctor could become a toddler. If you take Yana at his word (and they aren't just fake memories from the Chameleon Arch) then he was found as a baby, so it's possible the Master regenerated into a toddler and had his TARDIS chameleon arch him into a human form.

Romana chose non-human forms as possible regenerations in Destiny of the Daleks. And Nine implied he might regenerate without a head (or two heads) in Parting of the Ways.

The titan comics has the child master fighting in the Time War with the war doctor, and shows how he ended up losing his memory, and at the end of the universe to become professor Yana
