I'm playing the Bard's Tale, the newer one from a few years back. Cary Elwes does the voice and it is intended to be comical. So I get to this town(Kill something or either, I forgot, I was a zombie after playing all night) and my mission is to get this lute or lyre or some sort of musical instrument. So this pesky goblin like dude that I had fought before shows up with some other dudes like him and my Bard and his summoned Heroine and little Jack Russel Terrier kill them, but the leader teleports away.
So after you kill those guys you have to go through a gate and there is this frightened dude that says he will help you get past the little dudes and he actually has a fright timer to show how long he will run around in total terror. The problem is, there is this little blue force field barrier across the path and the terrified dude doesn't help and the little goblin dudes throw these huge weights at you. Even if you kill them, they just get replaced. All of this is after that annoying Bove thing with the duplicate dudes all missing limbs.
So I was stuck. So I walked around a bit trying to level up and get money until I was level 6, then I shut it off because I had been up all night. I'm at my girlfriend's place right now, so I don't have the game with me, but if you point out the way, I'll remember. I'm playing the PC version.
