That Starbase 11 wall chart - noe in slide form

This about only place that has anything remotely close to maybe what you could do if I had to guess. Recommend?

I would call and ask them what "high resolution" means to them. I can do 4800dpi, and 9600dpi interlaced. I'm betting that they'll do something like 1200dpi, in order to be able to produce a 4x6 print. On top of that, $50 is pretty outrageous, unless you have some old slides that you'd like to bundle in and lower the per piece cost.

I see a couple of places about 1.5 hours from you that may be worthwhile.

This place probably has the equipment and the ability, but they don't mention details. Give them a call and see what they say: https://uptowncolor.com/hard-copying/

This place specificies 4000dpi; I'll bet they can do higher and just think most people won't need it. http://phototechlabs.com/

Once I get scans complete, I'm going to put them in a Dropbox folder for everyone to get to, play with, see what they find. I have a lot of experience with film, and a fair amount of experience with Photoshop, but it sounded like there was one other person who might have more Photoshop experience than me. This way, everybody can try anyting they want on the raw scans.

I agree that this should be an open project for everyone to contribute. I hope people will go into it with open mind with whatever results are shown, if any. I still think some people are going to still question the results no matter what.

Agreed, I'm expecting the resolution to still mean there's discrepancies that can't be absolutely proven one way or another.
