Survivor Roll Call

Thanks for asking! I do think that Aurora is subject to the new guidelines. That said, where CBS/P said that existing content can stay online, and where John Van Citters sounded quite reasonable about it all, I feel confident that they will allow me--after 4 years of production--to release the conclusion of "Mudd in Your I", since the first 4 of 5 installments were already online before the new guidelines were issued. I am proceeding with the conclusion, and hope to have it out before the end of the summer (or at least by early autumn--animation always takes longer than you think!)
This is great news!
I really enjoyed the first show- I loved seeing the working part of the Federation instead of the traditional hero ship saving the universe. Giving the main character a history which most people, no matter how adventurous, would never touch was very well handled.

Super happy about this. I love Aurora!

Romulan Wars released a segment of their next episode, it's good to see Lee still alive and kicking.

I keep checking in hoping STNV will be moved back to the "Continuing" group -- even with the new actor playing Kirk (although I liked the show more with Cawley in the role). (sigh) And then I find that STC is gone too. :(

It's just sad. These productions aren't causing confusion in the market or hurting the brand one iota. Rather the opposite, I think. There's no good reason to kill 'em. (Except Axanar; those guys broke the covenant and are rightly being sued).

To the best of my knowledge there is no news that STC is gone. Ep. 7 is still scheduled to be released as planned Sept. 2nd. Ep. 8 is still being completed. STC is still in production and their FB page is still active.

If STC is done the news would be everywhere around here.

^ Indeed. But given the guidelines -- and the similar format to NV -- it's hard to imagine how they'll continue in the long run. I still can't believe CBS is doing this.

^^ For the umpteenth time they are guidelines not rules. There is a distinction. Vic has said they are seeking clarification and is hopeful that STC can go forward little changed from what it is now.

Until we hear otherwise nothing has changed.

I hope at the very least STC will finish what they have with the last Indiegogo campaign which should take them to episode 10. They have already said EP8 is in preproduction.
