Huh. How do you operate without a Bladder, then? I never knew it was possible to not have one.

When I had an umbilical hernia one of the post-op side effects was it blocked the normal flow from my bladder, I had an external bag (urostomy) attached to my leg, filled by a catheter, I had to empty the bag into a toilet. It was only temporary (about 3 days) until the swelling went down. There are multiple surgical solutions for something longer term, like bladder removal.

Interesting to note. I never knew that was possible, since, thankfully nobody I knew personally had to go through such a thing.

In the coming weeks, or month, I hope to get my right big toenail permanently removed. It's been an issue for multiple years now, as well as a growth on my heel that has been there ever since I was born.

It's called a Urostomy. I won't get into the nitty gritty, but it makes living without a bladder possible. Not easy, mind you. But possible...
