I saw this posted at another board and thought it was too good to pass up passing along:

That's an awesome poster, thanks for sharing. Question. Can a Super Star destroyer land - like the smaller ones can - or not?

I noticed nothing from "Firefly", though to be fair the Firefly itself is probably a whtie dot in that poster. But the Alliance tower cruiser is big.

Unless I missed it, I also don't see anything from "2001: A Space Odyssey".

They got some stuff wrong. The Scarran Dreadnought is supposed to be twice as big as a Peacekeeper Command Carrier.

I'd like to see the Planet Killer, original sized.

Where is the landing craft that come from the Star Destroyers? My understanding is that Star Destroyers are as much transports/mobile garrisons as anything. I'd like to see how they get the AT ATs down to the ground.

Some of these just make no sense when you think about it. What is the point of a Super Ultra Mega Star Destroyer? There is no such thing as a rebel battleship to make it necessary.

I do like that Neg'Vhar is really not that big. It's the first Klingon ship to come anywhere near the Galaxy class ship.

this chart sucks. Species 8472 is not "spelled" correctly.

It's hard to find labels for big ships.

At the very least, the EVE Amarr Empire Avatar Class Titan has it's description above it, where most or all others are to the right (front of the ship).

There might be others, but there's sooooo many, it'll take a while to find them.

Yeah, the Empire does have a serious case of Five Blades Syndrome when it came to super sizing Star Destroyers. Although the New Republic wasn't entirely immune to that themselves, as you can see on the chart.

That's amazing... thanks for sharing! :techman:

There are three Alliance ships nestled together by the aft area of that giant purple thing labelled "Halo Forerunner Keyship". (And right by the ship from Quark!)

that giant purple thing labelled "Halo Forerunner Keyship".
If I was a Halo nerd, I would object and remind everyone that the chart uses an image cutout where they Keyship is bathed in colored lighting so it appears purple, even though it's actually more grey in color.

If I was a Halo nerd.
