with darth vader and the lost cammand and legacy: war ending. I thought I would start a thread for all star wars comics begining with JEDI: The Dark Side #1 which is set before phantom menace the art looks fantastic and the writing is good look forward to how this goes.

it's just starting and it's pre annie which is good. so maybe well be getting more pre phantom menace?

I'm guessing there will be more Old Republic mini-series coming along the way given the games coming out and whatnot.

There are going to be a lot of short 4-5 issue comics in the future.

I am also wery curious what the next Blood Ties is going to be.

well we have a mini series begining this week called the old republic the lost suns.
which will be a five parter.

I love the old republic so I am looking forward to it need to get a new lap top compatable for the game so I can play it and all so start sto .

And finally there is a Chewie comic coming i august.

He rally needs to be fleshed out opposed to being the family dog for the Solos.

will this be part of the young reader graphics or an adult regular title? I LIke the cover and the title.

There was a Chewbacca series about a decade ago. It was sort of an anthology though of short Chewie stories told via flashbacks, with the main story taking place shortly after Vector Prime.

I'd like to see more of Chewbacca's development from Clone Wars soldier to smuggler. The novel Dark Lord sort of started him down that path.

Dark Horse is going back to the way they originally used to do Star Wars comics, IMO. A monthly ongoing book spanning 50 issues like Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy were once unheard of back then. Instead, you'd get a series of individual minis under those particular titles...

There are still long series like Knight Errant and Invasion.
Actually those were 5-issue minis that spawned sequels.

Star Wars: Knight Errant
Star Wars: Knight Errant Deluge (upcoming)

Star Wars: Invasion
Star Wars: Invasion Rescues
Star Wars: Invasion Revelations (upcoming)

It's similar to how Dark Horse did early Star Wars minis like Dark Empire and Crimson Empire, both of which had sequels.

Dark Times and the recently launched Jedi are expected to be released in this format as well (if anything, though, Jedi is really a returning title as it was originally a series of one-shots).

well had the day off so I got all caught up on my star war comics I thought I would rate them.

Jedi the dark side :bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian:
darth vader and the lost command :bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian: so want more on this time line. just awesome.
LEGACY: WAR :bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian: great ending great wrap up.

Come on both Invasion and Errant look like long-runing comic series interrupted ala Dark Times.

What you mean to say is that Invasion and Knight Errant are comics released as individual minis rather than as regular monthly books. Dark Times was a regular monthly book that later shifted to the mini-series format.

It's just Dark Horse going back to way they used to do Star Wars comics really.

the longest title runs usually run for 50 issues more or less on any title in the dark horse continuity.
