Picked up 4 boosters today, got:

U.S.S. Yeager (common)
U.S.S. Voyager (uncommon)
I.K.S. Korinar (common)
U.S.S. Hood (uncommon)

Was Impressed with the sculpt of the Voyager, Not so much with the Hood. Oh well. 2 out of 4 uncommon's not shabby. Also found out my local gaming store is running a tourney starting this sat. prize being the warship voyager. they say sales have been brisk, and exceeded their expectations.

As an owner of Star Trek fleet captains, I can recommend the game!

Its quite fun and very star trek. In fact its the best trek board game that I have played!

I really have to give my highest recommendations to both Expeditions and Fleet Captains. They're both phenomenal board games (and I play a lot of hobbyist board games), and capture the feel and spirit of Trek perfectly. Fleet Captains is definitely the better of the two games - in fact, as Wizkids has been pointing out in all their recent marketing of the game, I called it "the best Trek game ever made" in my review. The production problems were definitely an issue early on, but they've mostly been taken care of now, and from the very beginning, Wizkids has done an exemplary job replacing missing/broken components. Do yourself a favor - if you're a trekkie, and you have at least one friend or other willing participant - buy this game. After all, if we don't support good Trek games, who will?

I was of mixed minds about Tactics. They're simply reusing the sculpts from Fleet Captains, painting them, and charging a lot more for them, which is mostly fine - but they didn't even bother building a new game around them, they just cut and pasted their HeroClix rules - which don't mesh at all with the TrekVerse.

Personally, I'm saving the money I would have spent on Tactics for the hoped-for Romulan expansion for Fleet Captains.

Just Bought a single booster (last one) from gaming store, got the sutherland (data version) was happy as it was a rare I didn't have. acc. dropped it on kitchen floor and ship snapped off at the base, was bummed because I had to sacrifice my other sutherland for this one.
