All right, guys...meet Guls Berat and Speros, from Star Trek: Sigils and Unions! Thank you VERY much to Rabbitooth for creating these for me!

When it came to Tayben Berat, I kept picturing him as having eyes like Cal Ripken, Jr. So when I went Googling for pictures to give me some ideas of how to describe that, it also seemed to me that the general look and personality fit him enough to where Ripken could actually play Berat, assuming his acting skills were up to the task (those of you who have read the story will see why it could be a slightly more challenging role to perform at just the right levels, so to speak).

OK...next would be Gul Surtak Speros, played by David Spade. Obviously Spade's quite hard to recognize thanks to the age, but that actor was my first thought when I drew Speros for the first time, and the image has stuck. Now, this is Speros relatively calm. Let's just say he isn't always. You may notice that Speros follows the old Cardassian design as opposed to the new one; in Sigils and Unions this is an ethnic-group difference and both designs are legit.

Those are pretty awesome pictures! Bet it's just a trip to have them, too!

who's the actor 'playing' Logan?

It's Michael Weatherly. It's for someone's fan fic where these folks are a Special Investigations Unit. Cool idea I think.

Just did another request for a member here via PM. I like the way it turned out, so I figured I'd show it off:

Some really good mannips in here. Think I might have to PM you and/or sign up to that sight. Vesta's been running 7 years now but I've only ever been able to see the characters in my mind--despite having specific actors in place.

Good job, I especailly love the Dushka/Glau pics...Oh lord!

Thanks!
Actually, I've been getting quite a few requests here via PM.
I'd like to ask that if you have a request for me specifically, and don't want to join the STPMA, please post the request here in this thread and I'll respond here as well as post the image.
I'm having a hard time juggling the PMs along with which board etc.
So...if you want a photomanip, please post the request here if you want me to give it a shot. :techman:

Very nice! I have to admit I always pictured Akinola with slightly different features than Freeman's, but this definitely looks cool. :-)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

*gets down on my knees & kisses Rabittooth's butt, BIG-TIME.*

For that, I give you some images I found while searching on Google, for "Captain Morgan Bateson" (TNG - "Cause & Effect", "Ship Of The Line" by Diane Carey.)

Hi there- well if you have the time would it be possible to do any or all of the following Vesta characters? All of them need to be in First contact era uniforms.

Captain Maria Hernandez- the actreess and model Patricia Valasquez

Commander Ishikawa- the wrestler Tajiri (please note Ishikawa should have a blue undershirt as he's science officer)

My only suggestion is that you might want to enlarge their heads a little bit. Looks neat, but you wanna hit the proportions right. ;-)

Yup...alot of other folks have pointed out that the heads a bit too small. And now that I look carefully, I agree. I usually leave the existing head (In this case Picard) and then check the overlay one against the original for size (eyes, ears etc) but I didn't do it this time and as a result the head did come out too small.
Thanks for the "heads up" so to speak.
Maybe I'll re-work it.

Don't feel bad about it. Proportion is one of the hardest things to do as an artist; I still struggle with it myself. Good luck!

No....I'm ok...I don't feel bad. It happens quite a bit, especially if I don't do my comparison checking. It's easy to screw up the proportion when doing it by eye. This is why alot of times I'll post it for other folks to critique. Lighting issues and proportion problems that sometimes others see that I don't from looking at the thing too long.:)

Sorry for the delay on this. I'll take a look at them this week and begin to post them here as I do them.

Meanwhile, I wanted to show off a manip I did for someone of Wesley Crusher at 40 years old for a fan fic:
