I checked out the trailer over the weekend. Sadly it won't work on my ipad (as it needs ios 10 to run). Might look at it there is a PC version, but it seems the company making are focusing on mobile gaming. Oh well.

i know it sounds weird, but even though I like th Kelvinverse movies, I'm not at all interested in this. I never liked the ship designs, so this doesn't really appeal to me.

^^Bingo!

And it's a mobile game so for me personaly still nothing Trek gaming wise as i don't do the whole mobile gaming....maybe someday someone will take a chance and produce a Trek game to on PC or consoles that will rival the quality of games like Armada, B Commander, Elite Force, Interplay's Trek library, to name a few.

Ah, I see that now. You are correct. Two hits and the shields are gone. Wow. I'm really impressed.

you mean when the came out with the flip phone like in the original series.. for our telephone it was not .... Open World..?/?

from the post yesterday about the game... ====

Been playing this on and off since it’s release - and I quite like it!

In game music is very Ron Moore, BSG-esque.

I like it primarily because it’s a Kelvinverse Trek game - and so far, it’s pretty good overall.

:)

Just downloaded it. Can you play without joining a fleet?
I think you have to join one in the tutorial section showing you how, but there's nothing stopping you from leaving without joining another one after. That is, the in-game player groups ("Alliances"). No idea what the deal is with picking between Klingons, Federation, or Romulans, I'm not that far in the game yet.

I've taken the liberty of creating a TrekBBS group, invite-only at the moment, since they seem to be filling up and hitting the 30-member cap pretty fast for the public ones. I guess, post your player name here or PM me and I'll add you.

Can I join please, if room avail?
Player name: Saddestmoon

If you can’t find that, try my default name (which I tried to change from) which was:

Mordreh the Wonderous Slayer!

:D

Okay, it looks like this isn't going to be as simple as you'd expect. It seems different players go on different servers, and there's no way to cross-connect as yet (which explains why neither of those usernames worked when I tried to invite you) [Source]. I'll make the group public, then, since I have no idea how many servers there are or how you end up on one or another (Geography? Platform? Random chance?).

Well, some blended scotch is more expensive than some single malt, but in general for about the same quality a single malt will be 20% - 30% more.

Still confused.i just join any fleet during the tutorial,or join yours? If yours, what fleet name do I select?

I think just pick (or create) one randomly to advance in the tutorial. If you happen to see a TrekBBS fleet, sure, by all means, but I don't think it's that important which fleet you pick. You can always change it later.

Thanks for trying. If it's any additional info, my Player ID is: gle38f216e0, and I'm currently in an alliance called: [RMA] Roma.

Just installed it, going through the tutorial.

My ID is: rahullak

I've joined some other fleet for the purposes of the tutorial. When I get the chance, I'll try jumping into the TrekBBS one (hopefully it displays in the list).
