star trek discovery uniforms, costumes, and clothing

it's been a while since there was a dedicated thread for discovery's costumes by gersha phillips.

was hunting around online and found concept art for a few costume designs that we saw in the series:

some we didn't:

and some we kind of saw in season one, but will clearly be seeing more of in season 2:

personally, i would've loved something like the gray uniform more than the blue and bling we got, but i'm happy to see the enterprise uniforms show up in season 2. and i'm really fond of these space suits.

The EV suit in season 2 is quite different from that concept art.

But yeah, we did see it on the shuttle pilot in Episode 3.

current uniform jacket with black trousers, black boots with no more arrowhead trimming would have been fine. Honestly the Kelvin uniforms would have been fine, but I know they were probably not allowed to use them

Yes, to people without preconceptions of what a Star Trek uniform must look like.

The uniform is a mix of ENT era jumpsuit and TOS/Cage era colors. However I'd rather have the side panels be a color, like the space suits, rather than full of tiny deltas.
