There is a series on youtube called Star Trek Continues.
It has all the TOS characters, with younger actors. I watched every show and was amazed how they followed TOS canon to the letter.

This series takes into the account of the Enterprises 5 year mission. CBS made the first 3, and these guys made the last two, plus the characters moving on to the primer of the first movie.

Ladies get your hankies, I wept like a child it was real moving, and gave closure to the TOS series.

As they wrapped up shop quite some time ago there's little discussion of them anymore. Same with New Voyages and a lot of other fanfilms. They just rolled off the first pages as new topics or other topics got new messages.

Perhaps you might consider digging a little deeper into a forum before deciding what it supposedly lacks?

His name is crossed out, what does that mean?...
My dear friend Richie, If you really want to revive the walking zombie of STC, you may do so but watch out as I can easily plunge a sharp stake in its vulnerable cerebellum...

I rewatched the first part of the STC Finale last night, and honestly, I think I enjoyed it more the second time around - maybe after all the visual reboots, and Peck-Spock (Speck?) and questionable characterizations, it was so good to see the classic style again. It made me miss STC all over again, and regret that it was forced to finish early. I love that finale, the bookends of the series, all the little in-jokes and callbacks and classic touches. Going to watch the second part again soon. Its the first time since their release that I have revisited them.

Oh don`t worry, in a couple of years they`ll be able to make new episodes and they`ll cast James Dean to play all the crew roles:lol:

They're already halfway there;

Hmm... doesn't quite work for me with the voices being different from the original actors'.
