Star Trek Beyond Robbed By Suicide Squad

For what it's worth, the folks I was watching the Oscars with, who hadn't seen any of the nominees, thought that Suicide Squad deserved the Award based on the clips shown.

Remember, the voters weren't necessarily judging the makeups based on how they compared to a computer game or comic book. Just on how they worked in that movie and the level of expertise involved. It's a technical award, like Best Sound Editing, not a fan-based one.

I thought Croc looked terrible at that. These guys should have looked at Arkham Origins' version before settling on his design. And Leto's pimped out Joker? Just awful. Now he's a meth fiend who runs a strip club. Oh how the supremely insane have fallen.

Suicide Squad's version of Killer Croc is the only one I've liked since they abandoned the original design that Don Newton did so well when the character first showed up in the comic books back in the early '80s.
