You can do all those things in adobe flash. But Toon Boom looks like its easier to navigate through the software. And its more animation friendly, whereas flash can be problemsome and probably used more for banners and advertising than actual animated movies. Flash can't handle a complicated minute long animation without some lagging. Hence why I imported lots of small movies into GoAnimate studio

I think Toon Boom has its own studio for lots of different scenes. Cutting out the need for a goanimate type studio. So it probably would be better than flash. I have never used Toon Boom though so I can only guess.

I see your point.

I was thinking of a strange little idea of creating an animated Star Trek fan-series: So many fan-films these days, so it seems like it'd be a good idea and easier than finding people to play the part or using 3D graphics.
