G4 will air Spaceballs: The Animated Series on September 25, even though the animation is not as advanced as Tripping The Rift's, the content seems adult related.

Good grief. That seems considerably more sophomoric than Mel Brooks's movies usually are, and his movies are fairly sophomoric. I mean, his films have their share of sexual-themed humor, but they generally don't objectify women to that degree. Spaceballs certainly didn't.

It seems like they might be limiting their audience with this approach, it seems like it could have been a good show to reach beyond the normal G4 viewership with this one.

That hurts my brain to watch. I knew it wouldn't be as great as the movie, but... damn. That was completely unredeemable.
The next good space comedy will probably emerge in like... 5-10 years. They seem to work on a 10-15 yr basis.

Well, I wanted an episode on YouTube...blah. Not funny. Not only not funny, but the pacing is rotten, and the character design is poor and downright ugly.

What do you expect? Spaceballs wasn't that funny anyway. When I was a kid, Spaceballs was my bible of humor. Pure nostalgia reasons why I would occasionally laugh at some of the jokes in Spaceballs.

What were you guys expecting? Highbrow humor in a cartoon based off a movie with the title "Spaceballs"?

The movie was funny, the sries is crap. It's liek it's written by some new generation writer who grew up watching crappy comedies and thinks "There's Soemthing About Mary" is fucking hialrious.

This cartoon looked awful. I watched 2 minutes of that youtube linked one above. Anything where they try and catch an audience of reefer addicts by having reefer addicts (the two guards) is just stupid.
