I would probably only watch it for Kristen Kreuk, but I don't want to watch any groan inducing episodes or seasons.

(Interestingly, I think there are many who felt that Kreuk as Lana wasn't very strong).

:bolian:

I had my problems but I enjoyed it.

:techman:

That's me as well.

Really enjoyed a lot of it, and as far as I'm concerned, Tom Welling is Superman and Michael Rosenbaum is Lex Luthor. And John Glover is Lionel Luthor. They played those parts well.

I thought she was much better as Hannah on Chuck. ;)

I liked Jonathan & Martha a lot. I don't think they are given enough credit.
I liked them as well :).

Anyone remember the Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder episodes from it?

Link to a vid with some of it... along with a look back.

Yep! I even like Dean Cain & Teri Hatcher appearing. :) & Wonder Woman herself Lynda Carter. OMFG!!! Helen Slater :adore:

It only took 10 years, but the payoff was (almost) worth it.

I enjoyed Smallville. I enjoyed the first five seasons, minus season four, perhaps the best. I wasn't as much into it after the big reveal in the Season 5 finale. I didn't like Lex-Zod. But up until that point, Season 5 had been my favorite season. Season 4 was the one I liked the least.

As for seasons 6-10, the best thing going for them was the incorporation of more DC comics characters. I thought Smallville did a pretty decent job adapting many of them. Their Green Arrow grew on me. I wasn't a fan of Justin Hartley's acting at first, but over time I got used to it and was glad for his inclusion on the show. It was the closest we were going to get to a Batman-like character.

I liked what they did with Doomsday. When I first heard about it I groaned, but their take on him turned out alright. I didn't like the two second fight though.

I thought Smallville's Lex was the best take on the character in live-action. I loved Lionel. I enjoyed Brainiac. I didn't care for Major Zod and there wasn't enough Darkseid to get a real good impression. Perhaps they should've gone the Boss Dark Side route.

I liked Chloe, Lana, Lois, Tess, and the Kents. The supporting cast was pretty solid.

I thought Smallville did a good job of honoring the Donner/Reeve films while updating the Superman story for a modern audience. And they did it far better than Superman Returns did.

I haven't kept up with the Smallville Season 11 comic book continuation but I've liked most of what I read.

I enjoyed "Smallville". Frustrating at times, excellent at other times. I thought it never really full filled it's true potential do to varying factors of which I've stated in the old episode threads (which I miss :) ) but yes for the most part I enjoyed the series.

Smallville gave us the most brain damaged and hilarious crack-addled fanvid ever.

Clark and Lex fall in love. Unicorns. Clark gives birth TO A KITTEN. Which goes to live with Bruce Wayne.
