Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Discussion

Kelly Hu improves anything. Her Viagra commercial makes me want to have erectile dysfunction! No wait...

Too late... you've already jinxed yourself.

I actually just saw this commercial tonight and was going crazy trying to figure out who she was, so thanks for the name.

Kelly Hu (to me) was Abigail Chow, the psychologist on the last 2 seasons of "Warehouse 13." What I didn't realize until tonight was she was also China White on "Arrow"!

Now getting back to the show... according to wiki, " In 1784, New York-based merchants opened the China trade, followed by Salem, Boston, Philadelphia. ".

Since SH has never been shy about rewriting history, I can totally see SH adding an Asian character from Ichabod's time, perhaps another witch from the Far Eastern disciplines.

That way you can raise the ratings and still stay true your Revolutionary roots. :bolian:

I do like our core group, but don't mind them interacting with multiple guest stars along the way.

Alas, Kelly will merely be the stuff of dreams for SH fans. ;)

Sure, guest characters are great, but they shouldn't overshadow the main characters.

So I wonder what Ichabod will have been up to for that year? Did he stay in Sleepy Hollow or follow Abbie to Virginia?

He probably stayed in SH as a sentinel while she completed her training.

Plus he's probably President of the Revolutionary War re-enactors by now and needs to run the monthly meetings. ;)

Well, that's a good character to bring back. The fact that he's a childhood friend of Abby and Ichabod will help keep that tight-knit feeling in the main cast.

Glad to hear they are bringing back a familiar character with history with both the audience and characters. While I didn't hate Hawley, I think bringing him in last season was a mistake.
I am kind of glad to take a break from Headless. I did enjoy what they did with him, but after last season, bringing him back without Katrina would lose a bit of what made the character interesting. He worked well as a faceless monster too, but I don't know if you could really go back to that at this point.

It's truly frustrating when a show with a great 1st season goes bad because of tinkering. I'm looking at you, Human Target, Larroquette, and Martial Law.

Breaking In pulled the exact same mistake Human Target did with season 2. Introduce two female characters, the co-worker kind of works but the boss is just shoehorned in on everything and kills the flow.

Bringing in a boss for the team's operation in Human Target was a showkiller. They shouldn't have been answering to a boss and filing out a 401k for their boss.
