Series 5 'Bible' spoilers

Ah, the "I'm more normal than other fanboys" rant. Classic.

I see that he's also promoting some "exclusive" info about Tennant's future that other OG sources (or "sources," as the case may be) had before his fifteen minutes began.

So he basically said "They made me stop 'cos I was too awesome! But it's OK if I get it all wrong, 'cos it protects the show, right?"

Chortle, chortle. :D

Some more Comedy Gold from our old buddy Eddie.

So Moffatt is "winning his fight" not to start Series 5 with a two-part Dalek story, eh? (Another handy get out for another of his "spoilers" not coming true.) The funny thing is we already know from the man himself that he wrote his first episode back when Series 4 was still in production.

to be fair he could have wrote that his the first episode wants, the BBC will get a say in that.

Actually I can see why the BBC might want a Dalek episode to start S5, with Doctor Who largely absent from 2009, the show needs a) a good episode & b) an episode which will attract alot of publicity for the S5 opener.

Here's the thing. I know someone who's a good friend of Gary Russell and an acquaintance of many other people involved with making the show and in four years he's kept his mouth shut about every* spoiler he's ever heard because he knows (a) the folks in Cardiff don't want stuff being spread around and (b) he knows that talking about it would get people into trouble.

Compare that to Eddie who seems to be the first port of call for every decision RTD and Moffat make and can't wait to spread it around.

*Well almost every one. I heard about CT's cameo at the end of "Doomsday" in advance (and called him a liar!) and knew back in March that there'd be a scene in the S4 Finale where all the companions flew the TARDIS with the Doctor.

I don't know what's funnier: that Eddie is backing away from half his spoilers or that he's simultaneously insisting that Sean Pertwee(!) is the odds-on favorite to be the next Doctor.

I think he would be a great Doctor, regardless of who his father was. I can't see it happening though.

Maybe this 'Eddie' is being fed disinformation to flush him out?
