News Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum all return for Jurassic World 3!

It's no secret that I have not been a fan of the two Jurassic World films, but I have to say I'm genuinely intrigued about the third one now that it's officially confirmed that Sam, Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum are all returning for the first time since the very first film! Not only that, but it sounds like they'll have significant roles and not quick cameos.

I don't blame you for not bothering with the second one. It was only marginally better but not by much. I watched it because I love dinosaurs so much and I really hoped they learned from their mistakes of the first one. They kind of did but then made new ones (or rather repeated old ones from The Lost World).

The second one basically gave up on any pretense of high brow cinema and went with a pure action movie direction instead. And I think it worked better than whatever they tried to do with the first.

Honestly, it wasn't my intention to duplicate a thread because I did look for one on thiis news (even did a search), but nothing came up.

It's funny, though, because I brought up this very issue in QSF months ago (although my issue was about not being able to follow topics I wanted to see despite being started by people I have on ignore). I was directed to the XenForo forum where I brought it up...and got jack shit for help.

I do hope so, actually. I think the three add a lot to any JP movie, but it needs more weight.

I'm happy they're coming back, I've been hoping we'd see them again some time.
I thought Fallen Kingdom was OK, and the end opened up some very interesting possibilities for the series future.

I haven't seen the second Jurassic World yet, although I would like to. But, now that I know that the big three are coming back for the next movie, I'll have to make it a bit more of a priority.

I liked the first JW well enough (Its far below the first JP, but I'd put it at about the same level of JP3, both being enjoyable enough movies), and I've never bothered with JW2 because what I know of it just bugs me. But, if these 3 are getting major roles in the next JW movie, that would be enough to make me check it out (although maybe just on home video, depending on the reviews).
