Here's a blast from the past
We had a LG plasma that cost 3,000 and was only around 50 inches, and yeah it took two people to move it when it died.. I miss that set the picture was glorious
When we bought a 50-inch LG plasma (I believe right before plasmas disappeared from the market), I believe it cost us around $800!
Of course, when it ended up having a problem a number of years later, no one could get the parts for it anymore, so we were unable to have it repaired, and had to trash it instead.

I wish we had paid that much but we were early adopters and brought it when they were relatively new

It feels bad believe me..... We got it when mum and dad were both alive so it wasn't as much as a financial hit, but would have loved it had it been cheaper
