[Project : New Earth] My tribute to the original Star Trek series

Hello Everybody

I'm new on this forum but i would share with you my love to the original Star Trek series. I have spent more then 1 year of my free time to design and create a board game inspired by the Star Trek and Alien licenses. It called Project : New Earth. It's a sci-fi survival and space exploration board game, solo or co-op, where you lead a crew to colonize a new planet.

You will have to navigate among the stars, explore new world, upgrade and secure your ship to find a New Earth. You and your crew will also face numerous challenges, such as major and minor breakdowns, cosmic events, and terrifying intruders who will see your ship as their hunting ground, or worse, their nest.

The original Star Trek series was very rich. I haven't got the rights of course, so I had to create my own universe and I have spent a lot of time developing the narrative and content in homage to the series. I have more than 350 events to offer you to make your games unique. Most of them will offer you different choices with varying results. There are multiple endings including hidden endings depending on the planet you colonize or terraform.

I don't have the vocation to become a professional board game designer because I found my way in the field of telecommunications but I would like to leave a mark in this world from my hobbies.

Hello everyone.

To celebrate reaching 150 subscribers on the project’s Kickstarter page, I’m offering you a short article on the creation of a New Earth in Project: New Earth via terraforming.

In Project New Earth, there are only four planets that will be terraformable. Here are the names and appearances of each of these four planets.

But how will the terraforming process take place?
Beforehand, access to terraforming technology will only be possible by playing Scenario 02.

This scenario will unlock a special research essential to unlocking terraforming technology.

I’ll let you guess the wink in the name of the research This research will require a significant amount of research points. In addition, the completion of the terraforming colony will require a large stock of resources.

The Hangar must be operational to launch an exploration mission. Unlike colonizing a planet, terraforming a planet does not require you to complete the exploration mission.

As with colonizable planets, each terraformable planet will offer a unique endgame. By completing an exploration mission on these planets, you will receive a clue as to the outcome of the terraforming.
