Planning to buy TNG BluRay, does the complete box set have all the special features?

Hello everyone, new member here. I've been a Star Trek fan since I was little and I watched TOS with my grandpa, this was before TNG came out.

I'd like to buy the TNG on BluRay, I've seen a few post here and there saying that if you buy the complete box set, (seasons 1-7) that you don't get as many bonus features as if you buy each season separately. Its cheaper to buy the box set, but I really enjoy bonus features, so if you do get more if you buy them all the seasons individually, then I'd like to go that route. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

As far as I'm aware (and I could be wrong), the complete series set should port over all of the same special features, as it uses the original Blu Ray discs. Except those featured on the individual 'movie-edit' story releases ("Best of Both Worlds", "Redemption", "Unification", "Chain of Command" and "All Good Things") which featured their own unique documentaries and blooper reels.

You could always get the complete series set and then pick up the individual movie-edits seperately, if bonus features are your thing. :)

^Correct. The box set contains all the exact same special features as the individual seasons. So you get absolutely everything except the ones made for the "movie edit" releases.

The complete series boxed set on Blu-Ray contains all of the special features on the individual season sets. It does not, however, contain the special features newly produced for the individual "movie sets." "The Best of Both Worlds," "Reunification," "Redemption," "Chain of Command," and "... All Good Things" on Blu Ray each contain 30 minute documentaries as well as commentary. If you're a special features junky like me you'll want these, but you can purchase them separately for next to nothing.

The just announced new box set of seasons 1-7 has just dropped to $159.99 !!!!!!!!!
That's under $23 a season.

I managed to buy each season of TNG-BLU for a reasonable price through a used video store. I feel like I've basically rewatched all of TNG now, even the episodes I never really cared to watch. The picture quality and effects are just stunning in high definition. The new behind the scenes material and commentaries are great additions too. Seth MacFarlane commenting on Cause and Effect? Just awesome. Makes me crave DS9 and VOY in Bluray. but netflix/dvds will have to do for now. I have been looking but haven't been able to find Enterprise yet...

I was looking at Amazon, and saw they offer the complete series of Enterprise for $99 in a single box case... much cheaper than the $50-70 price per season on Amazon. Anyone know if these complete series box set is an official release? and if the disc content (menus, special features, picture quality, etc.) are the same as the US release? I have included the link below for clarification. The customer reviews do offer screengrabs of the menus and the cae/discs themselves. (If posting the amazon link is considered advertising and is a no-no, I apologize and please feel free to edit the post... or I will when I see it lol)

It looks like a reboxing from the UK of the discs. As far as I'm aware, they should be the same discs as the ones that are available here in North America.

Same discs as the individual seasons.
