NFL 2025: A new era dawns?

Not related to NIL, but Cam McCormick is going to be a ninth-year senior at Miami this fall, due to injuries and the COVID season. He's only played four full seasons through eight years.

No one seems to mention that the longer these guys are in college, other players aren't getting scholarships.

Did you see one of the TV talking heads throw a tantrum about Aaron Rodgers not being in camp for the Steelers OTAs? Then after the blowback she tried to act like of course she knows he is still a free agent.

All the stupid things Boomer Esiason is saying on his radio show that's been getting national ridicule, isn't this what he's like every day on his show?

I have no clue. Don't know what he's been up to, and haven't heard about him recently.

Derek Carr said it would be wrong for him to show up hurt just to collect a paycheck and that retirement was the right call.

If he were a baseball player, the MLBPA would've assassinated him before he could retire and leave money on the table.

Boy oh boy that's gonna be a shit-storm on turf. My forecast for Ben-Gals' wins just went up by one in the AFC North.

The Steelers were rated 29th in pass protection last year and run an archaic offense. How could signing Rodgers possibly go wrong?!

Anthony Richardson hurt again. He aggravated the right shoulder joint he had injured in 2023.

This kid is looking more and more like a bust. It is a shame because, in all honesty, he should've never been picked before the third or fourth-round as a project QB. He just didn't have the experience of playing QB to be an NFL starter from the getgo.

How many college QBs with only one year starting have success in the NFL? Certainly not Trey Lance or Mitch Trubisky. Mark Sanchez had like 1.5 seasons starting.

Dwayne Haskins, RIP. Kyler Murray's level of success depends on how you view him.

I posted this before, but look at Brock Purdy with four good but not great years starting against elite teams. Then look at Trey Lance with one elite year playing against FCS teams. Experience counts for something.
