NFL 2020 Season: We're gonna bite a kneecap off

Sirianni may wish he had stayed in Indianapolis. He may not last more than 2021.

The Colts weren't going to find a quick fix and were probably going to go into the year with Jacoby Brissett, a clear step back. They didn't overpay asset wise and Indy is a better situation than Philly would've been.

Brissett is a free agent. I think Jacob Eason was the only QB the Colts had under contract before Wentz.

Oh, fuck it. Cam still with the Pats?

I guess I'll pay more attention to the Saints, Chiefs and the Bucs. I stopped holding my breath for the Bengals a long time ago, long before Marvin Lewis left. Maybe I'll pay attention to WTF...what my wife and FiL calls Washington Football Team.

Kyle Juschek got a 5 year extension with the 49ers. I think that tells you all you need to know about how the 49ers feel about the role of their fullback, despite the rest of the league looking at the position as kind of a "There" position. Juice and Kittle are going to be feasting for at least 5 more years and I'm all for it. I also read that they restructured Ford's deal today, which is nice. I hope the 49ers also make a serious run towards Watson, and if not, maybe trade up in the Draft and get a QB. Not sure I can take another promising season for Jimmy only for him to get injured early on.

If anyone is interested, Belichick is running out of people to sign, so submit a stats bio and a workout video, and he should be able to hook you up with decent FA money.

Still could use a real QB, but still have cap space and an entire draft board, so assume there's a plan to either trade for someone or draft a kid to put behind Cam for a few weeks until they can figure out what they've got going on...

Based on their moves so far in FA (including re-signing Newton) I'm expecting the Patriots to try and draft a QB in the first round. Who knows, maybe they'll actually trade up.

The Bears have signed QB.........Andy Dalton to a one year deal. All the pieces really are in place now.

Ryan Fitzpatrick signs with the WFT. That might make them a decent team.

Fitz is going to Washington? That’s a good start, most definitely, but their O-line still leaks like a sieve. The best QB in the world couldn’t possibly be successful if he barely ever has more than 2 seconds in the pocket to make a play.

From Mike Glennon to Mitch Trubisky to Nick Foles to Trubisky to Andy Dalton, who was even worse, statistically speaking, than Trubisky this past season.

What does it take to get fired by the Bears?

Andy Dalton...well that's certainly better than Russell Wilson...:shifty::lol:

I am bummed to see Michael Brockers leaving the Rams. He's been very solid for us for a long time.

It's probably important to note that Tony Buzbee, the lawyer who filed this suit against Watson, once claimed to be the neighbor of Cal McNair, current CEO of the Texans. That little nugget, along with the timing of the suit, makes this more than a little fishy.

Everything about the Texans organization is a little fishy right now. It's turning into quite a soap opera with Watson demanding a trade, Easterby's antics, and now this. Not to mention hiring a new head coach that no one else was even considering. If the Texans manage to win even four games this year it'll be a miracle.
