Only if those events actually happened!
All those tribbles were created by hot bannanas.
That's got to be the most embarassing reason to lose a ship.If she’s still captain. She lost her ship to Tribbles.![]()
In the absence of an abundant food source a murder or gang or pod of Tribbles get together to cannibalize one large elderly infertile tribble (by breaking down its flesh with compounds in their saliva) to reproduce ten additional Tribbles per cannibal every twelve hours. Soon there are hundreds of new fertile Tribbles from one sacrifice.BUMP! Got the Short Treks DVD and finally rewatched this one. I LOVED it so much. One of the best Short Treks of all, and deserving of more love in general.
And yes the continuity doesn't fit with Enterprise and in TOS they needed to eat in order to reproduce but here they just randomly shoot out babies, which is impossible. But I don't care.
Only for a Klingon. That's got to be the most embarassing reason to lose a ship.
That violates the laws of thermodynamics and energy. In the absence of an abundant food source a murder or gang or pod of Tribbles get together to cannibalize one large elderly infertile tribble (by breaking down its flesh with compounds in their saliva) to reproduce ten additional Tribbles per cannibal every twelve hours. Soon there are hundreds of new fertile Tribbles from one sacrifice.
So does Star Trek. Your point? That violates the laws of thermodynamics and energy.
That... just made the episode 10x darkerIn the absence of an abundant food source a murder or gang or pod of Tribbles get together to cannibalize one large elderly infertile tribble (by breaking down its flesh with compounds in their saliva) to reproduce ten additional Tribbles per cannibal every twelve hours. Soon there are hundreds of new fertile Tribbles from one sacrifice.
Yes.That violates the laws of thermodynamics and energy.
Yes.
And?
*looks at Star Trek's history.*
Of course they can do better. It's true, but it doesn't mean they can't do better in the future. That's what Star Trek's all about after all!
Only for a Klingon.
